The calculation has been made considering an environment temperature of 40°C; if the estimated temperature is
different. The values given are to be changed as a consequence; the lubrication frequency is to be halved every
15K over the reference value.
The lubrication intervals are not to be longer than once a year.
Because of the short distance between the fixed and rotating parts of the flame extinguisher, for explosion-proof
motors the maximum load that can be supported by the bearing is lower than for normal motors; this is why the
lubrication intervals are not reduced.

The lubrication intervals indicated in the table are only indicative. For the correct values of the specific
application, always refer to the values indicated on the plate on board the machine.
