1.4.2.5 POWER SUPPLIED CONNECTIONS
The power supply connection in the main
terminal box shall be made according to the
manufacturer’s instructions. The cable entry
devices used on the terminal boxes shall be
suitably certified according to the applicable
standards for the type of protection of the
terminal box and must ensure the IP minimum of
the enclosures
When Current Transformers are fitted in the
terminal arrangement the following ap-plies:
adequate precautions shall be taken to ensure
that the CTs secondary have a burden
connected at all times.
When the Ex-db intermediate enclosure type
DBIE03* with surge protection devices is
mounted, the external earth connection must be
connected to the earthing system with the
shortest path by a copper conductor with
minimum rated cross section of 25 mm
2
.
When main terminal boxes with insulated
phases type E1LISE* and E1LISR* are used, the
power supply connection shall be made with kit
of connectors (Euromold) or insulated junction
(Raychem) supplied by ABB and fixed on cable
by the user according to the manufacturer’s
instruction. If these terminal boxes are equipped
with special coils assembly for a detector system
of partial discharges they shall be use according
to the manufacturer’s instructions.
1.4.2.6 ELECTRICAL
APPARATUS/ACCESSORIES ON BOARD
OF MOTOR
Take in consideration the supply energy limits and
operational information present in the certificates of
conformity of each electrical apparatus/accessories
on board of motor and technical documentation
supplied by
.
1.5
REPORTING AND CONTROL SHEETS
In the following a set of "Control Sheets" is given.
These sheets shall be used to record the data upon
arrival of the motor on site, at assembly and at the
commissioning.
Even
the
ordinary
periodic
maintenance is covered.
An accurate execution of the suggested jobs will
ensure the maximum availability of the machine with
a minimum of disturbance in the operation. It is very
important that all the data obtained during the a.m.
steps are recorded and maintained.
In case of operation troubles, the right technical
solution could be more easily obtained by the
"Control
Sheets"
consultation,
without
time
consuming investigations. The accurate and constant
filling of the "Control Sheets" is therefore strongly
suggested.
