9.1 Battery and charger
CAUTION - Protect from moisture and do not touch with wet hands to avoid electric shocks and
defects!
NOTE - Charge the batteries after each use.
NOTE - Protect the charger and voltage converter against oils, greases, aggressive cleaning
agents, thinning agents or damage.
NOTE - Observe the user manual for the charger/voltage converter.
NOTE - Deep discharge results in loss of capacity and a reduced service life.
NOTE - Before sending the batteries (repair, disposal, etc.) pack the battery pack securely. No
special cardboard packaging is needed.
NOTE - Do not charge the battery near heat-sensitive or flammable materials.
Recommendation:
Remove the battery from the charger for long-term storage (or non-use). Carry out
regular trickle charges at intervals of 1 month, then remove the battery from the charger again.
New batteries only reach their full capacity after several charging cycles. The batteries are
maintenance free and rechargeable.
