7.3 Controlling the laser beam
The laser beam is controlled by means of the joystick. To this effect, please place your
hand comfortably on the hand rest (supplied in two different sizes) and grab the joystick.
If the joystick is moved to the right, the laser beam will simultaneously move to the right. If
it is moved to the left, the laser beam will move to the left. When the joystick is moved
forward, the laser beam will move forward and when it is moved backwards, the laser
beam will move backward. The resistance of the joystick can be adjusted by turning the
cap.

The size of the operating area depends on the operating distance:
Minimum: 50 x 30 mm at a working distance of 200 mm
Maximum: 145 x 75 mm at a working distance of 500 mm
7.4 Dismantling
After treatment, the C-Pro must be removed. To ensure the C-Pro remains undamaged
until the next treatment, please perform the following steps:
1. Switch off the microscope and the laser.
2. Unscrew the articulated arm and the articulated arm adapter.
3. Hold the C-Pro, loosen the screw on the microscope adapter and pull out the C-
Pro.
4. Clean the C-Pro as described in chapter 9.3.
5. Place the C-Pro and the equipment into the appropriate recesses in the case.
