Minimum Days of Video

Range: 1 - 30 days
This setting regulates the minimum number of days of
video that will be stored on the SmartRecorder before
video is deleted.
If system storage is insufficient, resulting in the
need to trim video before it is allowed to expire, the
SmartRecorder will generate warnings and force the
premature deletion of video.

These settings define the storage duration for events
generated on the SmartRecorder. All events and
associated video will be deleted after the duration
specified for each event type.
If system storage is insufficient to retain events for the
specified duration, these values may be overridden.
The 3VR SmartRecorder can retain optimized images and event information for extended periods of time if video
has been removed from the system due to space constraints.
Events and video associated with an event type will be deleted from the system after the number of days
specified for each event type has passed. Video captured by continuous recording will be deleted after the
maximum specified event storage duration has passed.
To access the following settings, click the name of the SmartRecorder in the
Manage Servers
tab.
