On the 3VR SmartRecorder, each channel is configured independently.
Unused channels should be disabled to conserve system resources. 3VR recommends that any unused channels
be labeled
Unused
(e.g.,
C16 Unused
). On a 24-channel E-Series or P-Series system, channels 25-32 should be
labeled
Unlicensed
(e.g.,
C25 Unlicensed
) and disabled to avoid licensing fees.
Step 1:
Configure Channels for Analog Cameras
To modify a channel’s settings, click the channel 3.
name to highlight it. Details about the channel will
appear to the right.
Click the 2. beside the
Channels
node to display the
current list of channels.
Click the beside the SmartRecorder name. 1.
To configure channels in SystemManager, click the
Manage Servers
tab.
Name all active channels:
