Occlusal Reduction Tool
After you have completed the operative, opposing and bite scans (see “Bite Scan” below) and
entered Margin Review, the Occlusal Reduction Tool allows you to see whether the prep has
been reduced adequately. This tool color codes the distances between surfaces so you can
quickly identify areas that are closer to the occlusal surface of the opposing tooth than what is
required for your chosen restoration.
You can select a range of between 0 and 3.0 millimeters for the system to measure and label.
