Post/Lock Assembly
5-6-1. How to Disassemble the Post Assembly
1. Remove post nut. See Figure 5-34.
2. Lift latch and remove the post.
3. Reassemble in reverse order.
Caution
!
When reassembling, be sure a washer is placed on
each side of the Post. Figure 5-35.

Assembly
1. Remove post nut. See Figure 5-34.
2. Unscrew stop screw and slide lock and spring off
bottom of post.
3. To remove post-mount pivot and bracket pivot,
unscrew post-mount screw.
4. Reassemble in reverse order.
