5-2-3. How to Replace the Top Cover Latch

1. Open top cover.

2. Use a screwdriver to gently spread apart the hinge

holders securing the top cover latch. See
Figure 5-6.

3. Pull latch out to remove.

4. To insert latch, align tension spring and slip one

side of the latch into hinge holder. Use a screw
driver to gently spread apart the other hinge
holder and snap the other side of the latch into
place.

Note

There is a tension spring (not shown) attached
to the plastic peg on the back side of the latch.

5-2-4. How to Replace the Stage Glass

1. Remove the Fresnel Lens. See 5-2-2.

2. Carefully remove the damaged glass.

3. Remove the metal retainer to free the glass.

4. When replacing the stage glass, make sure the

beveled edges are under the plastic nibs on the top
side of the top cover. See Figure 5-7.

reinstalling the Fresnel Lens.
