5-4-3. How to Replace the Internal Voltage
Switch
!
Unplug projector power cord before performing
any maintenance to electrical components.
Set the switch to high
for areas with normal input
voltage or low
for areas with very high input
voltage.
1. Unplug power cord from outlet.
2. Unscrew retaining screws securing the baffle
bracket.
Note
These screws are accessed from the bottom of
the projector.
3. Open top cover.
4. Label and disconnect wire connectors to circuit
board and thermostat.
5. Remove baffle bracket with circuit board and
thermostat attached.
6. Disconnect wire connectors from wire terminals
on switch.
7. Squeeze spring latches and pull up to free switch
from transformer bracket.

Unplug projector power cord before performing
any maintenance to electrical components.
All projectors have an interlock switch located on the
inside wall of the projector next to the top cover
release latch.
Important
The top cover must be closed and latched to
engage the interlock. The interlock should
cut power to the lamp and fan when the top
cover is opened.
1. Unplug power cord from outlet.
2. Open top cover.
3. Unscrew cover screw securing interlock cover.

4. Disconnect wire connectors inside interlock
switch.
5. Unscrew interlock screws securing interlock
switch to projector body. Figure 5-24.

6. Reassemble in reverse order.
