PRINT CONTROLS
– menu for pause/aborting print in progress. The available options include:
Pause
– suspends the printing process. After using the Pause command, the device moves its head to the home position of X and
Y axis. Temperatures are not subject to change, which is why the Pause command should not be used for periods longer than 15
minutes. During pause it is possible to comfortably change the material, install a new spool or inspect the model being printed.
When the printing process is suspended, the Pause command is replaced by Resume that if selected, will resume the printing
process. When changing material, it is recommended to pause the print at the moment when the filling is being printed, which
will reduce the risk of possible failures on the external (visible) model surface.
Abort Print
– a command for canceling the printing process in progress. This option should be used If printing has to be canceled
for some reason, e.g. damage to the model or a wrong machine code preset. The print is aborted immediately – the print is
stopped after executing the last commands from the printer buffer.
CAUTION: The result of Abort Print command is not the same as in the case of using the emergency stop button!
The Abort Print command is irreversible – the interrupted process cannot be resumed.
MATERIAL STATUS
– Material Status key calls up a screen with information and operations related to installation, removing and
changing consumables:
All the information included in this screen is presented separately – on the left for extruder 0, while on the right for extruder 1.
