Parameters
cipher-force
: Adopts the forcible cipher mode so that all local users' the passwords will be displayed in
cipher text.
auto
: Adopts the automatic mode so that each local user's password will be displayed in the mode you
have set for the user by the
password
command.
Description
Use the
local-user password-display-mode
command to set the password display mode of all local
users.
Use the
undo local-user password-display-mode
command to restore the default password display
mode of all local users.
By default, the password display mode of all access users is
auto
.
If the
cipher-force
mode is adopted, all passwords will be displayed in cipher text even though you
have specified to display some users passwords in plain text by using the
password
command with the
simple
keyword.
