XGS1930 Series User’s Guide

Nebula Cloud Management

In this mode, you can manage and monitor the Switch through the Zyxel Nebula cloud-based network
management system. Note that you need to configure the Switch via the NCC (Nebula Control Center)
when the Switch is in this mode. See the NCC User’s Guide for how to configure Nebula managed
devices..

1.1.2 Mode Changing

This section describes how to change the Switch’s management mode.

From Standalone to Cloud

To manage your Switch via the Zyxel NCC, connect the Switch to the Internet, and register it to a site
and organization in the NCC (http://nebula.zyxel.com).

See the following steps or the corresponding Quick Start Guide for how to do device registration.

Go to the NCC. There are three ways to go to the NCC portal website.

• Type http://nebula.zyxel.com in a supported web browser. See the NCC User’s Guide for more

information about supported browsers.

• Click the

Visit

button in the Switch’s login page.

• Click the

Nebula

icon in the upper right corner of the Switch’s web configurator.

Click

Login

in the NCC’s portal website, and you’ll be directed to another screen where you can sign up

for a myZyxel account or enter your existing account information.

Use the NCC setup wizard to create an organization and a site. Note that the NCC setup wizard only
appears when you first log in the NCC.
