VPN Express Wizard: Summary

•

Rule Name

: Identifies the VPN gateway policy.

•

Secure Gateway

: IP address or domain name of the remote IPSec device.

•

Pre-Shared Key

: VPN tunnel password. It identifies a communicating party during a phase 1

IKE negotiation.

•

Local Policy

: IP address and subnet mask of the computers on the network behind your UAG

that can use the tunnel.

•

Remote Policy

: IP address and subnet mask of the computers on the network behind the

remote IPSec device that can use the tunnel.

• Copy and paste the

Configuration for Secure Gateway

commands into another ZLD-based

UAG’s command line interface to configure it to serve as the other end of this VPN tunnel. You
can also use a text editor to save these commands as a shell script file with a “.zysh” filename
extension. Use the file manager to run the script in order to configure the VPN connection. See
the commands reference guide for details on the commands displayed in this list.

5.3.6 VPN Express Wizard - Finish

Now the rule is configured on the UAG. The Phase 1 rule settings appear in the
