To configure data port settings for your WAN router, enter 3 from the main menu to display Menu 3 –
Data Port Setup , as shown next. If you are unsure of any of this information, please check with your WAN
router vendor.

This function is responsible for monitoring the up/down status and error
performance of an individual link. If failure occurs, it also initiates
recovery actions for the restoration of the failed link.
Press [SPACE BAR] to select ANSI (T1.617) or ITU-T (Q.933) .
If your Prestige is a server, then select the mode that applies to your
region. If your Prestige is a client, select the mode that the server side
selects. The Prestige and its peer must use the same
