WEP State — Choose one of these options:
•
64-Bit — Members for whom WEP is enabled will
have access only to other members with WEP
enabled (using 64-Bit encryption).
•
128-Bit —Members for whom WEP is enabled
will have access only to other members with WEP
enabled (using 128-Bit encryption).
• Disabled — Members will not have access to
WEP-enabled members and vice-versa.
Passphrase — WEP generates its electronic key by converting
a string you supply—the Passphrase—to a series of
hexadecimal numbers. In the Passphrase area, enter a
string of letters and numbers. Click on the Generate
button to generate your WEP key. You can further
modify the key by entering numbers directly into the
keys.
Note:
You must use the same WEP key for all ZoomAir
units in your wireless LAN that want to communicate
with each other. Be sure to record your Passphrase and
any manual modifications to the key and keep it in a
secure place.
In some older ZoomAir installations, the Passphrase
may be called a
Key String .

Review the page when you have entered all the information.
You can click on
Cancel if you want to reset the form and start
over. When you are satisfied with the information on this page,
click on Save . WebManage will send the information to the on-
board memory in ZoomAir AP11, and you will see a
confirming screen. Note: You must then reboot the machine
for your changes to take effect.
Advanced Settings
The advanced settings for the wireless access point should not have
an effect on access or security, and you should not normally need
to change them. If you want to review them or if you have a reason
to change them, follow these steps:
