In the Configuration tabbed page, find the entry that begins
TCP/IP
->
and continues with the name of the ZoomAir PC
Card that is installed on this computer.
(If you don’t have TCP/IP, you’ll need to add it. In that same
Configuration tabbed page, click on the Add button. Select
Protocol and click Add . Under Manufacturers , select
Microsoft and TCP/IP and click OK .)
Highlight the TCP/IP entry by clicking on it; then click on
the Properties button below.

In the TCP/IP Properties dialog box, click on the IP
Address tab.
Click on the radio button labeled Specify an IP address .
Enter an IP Address not already in use and enter the Subnet
Mask.

Click OK ; restart the computer if you are asked to do so.
Repeat this process until all ZoomAir-equipped computers have
been reconfigured.
Making the Connections to a Hub
With all your wireless and wired members of the LAN set up, you
can now connect the ZoomAir AP11 to a hub that is connected to
your wired LAN. This is typically done with the white 10BaseT
cable provided with the unit. Plug one end of the cable into the
LAN jack on the ZoomAir AP11 and the other end into the hub.
If they are not already running, first turn on the ZoomAir AP11
and then the computers on your LAN. It may take a few minutes
for the wireless clients to establish their connections. Any
computers that are already running should be restarted, especially if
you have changed their networking configurations.
Testing and Troubleshooting the
Wireless/Wired LAN Combination
A fast, reliable way to check to see if a particular client is listed is to
go to
Start | Find Computer and enter the name of the
computer.
