PROCEDURE:
●
Rear shock absorber rod assembly
After supporting the vehicle firmly, remove the shroud, muffler and rear inner fender first. Be careful not to
support the rear flat fork assembly.
Use a 17# Torx wrench to fix the nuts
⑴
at b and c of the front pedal bracket on the right side, and use a 14#
socket on the left to remove the bolts
⑵
and then remove the nuts

. Insert the bolt at b first.
Use a 17# Torx wrench to fix the 2 nuts
⑴
at the a of the front pedal bracket respectively on the left side,
and use a 14# socket on the right to remove the bolt
⑵
and then remove the nut

Use a 14# sleeve to fix the bolts at d\e\f on the right side
⑵
, and use a 17# sleeve to remove the nut at d on
the left side
⑴
Do not remove the bolts here, e and f. The nut does not need to be removed after loosening 3
to 5 threads.
Use a 14# Torx wrench to fix the nut
⑷
and then use a 14# socket to remove the bolt
⑶
.
After holding the rear shock absorber assembly, remove bolt b and bolt d, and remove the rear shock
absorber assembly from the vehicle.
CAUTION:
●
Removing the rear shock absorber assembly will cause the rear flat fork assembly to be unable to support
the entire vehicle, so do not support it on the rear flat fork.
