10.5. Problems without Error message
Cable control error even if the electrodes already checked and correctly fixed!
In this case it could be an electrical contact problems between the electrode cables which be fixed by screws at the
water separator and the patient connector. Please unscrew the electrode cables and ensure that the metallic surfaces of
spring and patient connector free of plastic remainders. After this screw the electrode cables again and check the
connection by applying stimulation current at the suction electrodes.
No pressure at the suction cup even if the pump running!
Please check the setting therapy pressure at the Vacuum control window.
Check if the suction electrodes are correctly attached.
Check all silicone tubes for leakages or faulty mounting.
If the problem still there, please contact Service department (Zimmer MedizinSysteme)
Pressure is too low!
Please check the setting therapy pressure
Check the silicone tubes and the suction cables for leakages
With an external pressure sensor check the internal pressure sensor. To do this, please compare the adjusted pressure
with the measured pressure at the water separator. The max. allowed variance is ±10%.
The pulsation mode is not possible!
Check the Pulsation modus in the therapy window
If it possible to set the therapy pressure on a higher level but not possible to relieve the pressure, that means that the
valve is defective or the valve connection at the main board is not correctly plugged.
The pump dose not stop running even the vacuum at the suction cup already reached. The pressure level on the
vacuum panel is still at minimum!
Check if the silicone tubes correctly attached with the pressure sensor.
The pump does not run even if the communication (soleo/ vaco) is there and the therapy pressure already set
on a higher level!
Please check the pump cable and pump connector on the main board.
Check the cable of the water level sensor and the sensor plug on the main board.
If the problem still there, the pump is already defective and must be change.
Vaco device does not run and the vacuum panel on the therapy window is not displayed even if all cable are
connected!
Check if the mains cable and the mains connector cable (Soleo/ Vaco) are correctly plugged.
Switch the vaco device on.
Check if there are some cables hanging over the IR-interface
Check all vaco fuses (2x power inlet fuses, 1x fuse on the main board) and change the fuses if it necessary.
Check the Jumper on the main board of the vaco device (JP1001, JP1004 for the 110V power supply and JP1002,
JP1003) for the 220V power supply.
If the problem still there, please contact service department (Zimmer MedizinSysteme).
There is no stimulating current at the suction cup electrodes!
Please check all cable connections for channel 1 and 2
Start a new therapy with the vaco device.
