Foot Adjustment
Two adjustable floor pads are located under the front end of the base plate to level
out uneven floors.
Castors
After lifting the front end of the ergometer, it can be pushed or pulled in either
direction on these two castors.
Control Panel
The control panel incorporates all displays and buttons to control and operate the
unit. The control panel can be mounted in ‘forward’ or ‘backward’ direction so that it
either faces the patient or the physician for setting the controls.
Seat Height
Adjustment
The height of the seat can be adjusted continuously. Release the lock of the seat
support by lifting lever “4” and slide the seat to the desired position. Note the seat
height indicator “5”.
Never release lever lock “4” with the patient on the seat!

The height of the seat support is indicated in field “5”.
Horizontal Seat
Position
The seat can be moved horizontally. Release the lock by turning the knob under
the seat ”6” and slide the seat to the desired position. Then re-secure the seat by
turning the knob.
Handle Bar
Adjustment
The handle bar can be tilted up and down to adapt to the different arm lengths of
the various patients. Release the lock by turning the lever “7” ccw. After tilting the
handle bar to the required position, re-secure the lock by turning the lever cw until it
clicks.
Ensure the clamping lever has clicked into to a locked position!
Mains
Connection
Power connector, mains switch and line fuses are located at the
rear panel of the ergometer.
Connect the supplied power cable to the equipment connector and
plug the other end into a wall outlet.
Mains Switch
The mains switch of the ergometer is also located on the rear panel.
It disconnects the entire unit from the line voltage.
Located beside the equipment power connector is a slot for holding
two slow-blow fuses ‘T 1.6 AL’. When replacing a blown fuse, ensure the new fuse
link has the same rating.
