4.
Insert the cable of the outdoor climate
sensor
[12]
through
the
wall
breakthrough/wall sleeve.
5.
Press the cover flap [11] onto the housing.
7.2.
Fastening the cable of the
outdoor climate sensor
1.
Pull the sensor connection cable [12]
through the wall breakthrough/wall
sleeve.
2.
Fasten the sensor cable with adhesive
tape, if possible at the bottom, in a wall
breakthrough/wall sleeve.
A maximum of 10 cm is required in the
fan housing for the connection to the
control electronics.
7.3.
Fan housing installation
1.
Insert the housing [1] into a wall
breakthrough/wall sleeve (TOP must be
on the upside).
2.
Align the housing horizontally and mark
the two dowel holes (
→
arrows).
3.
Remove the housing [1], drill M6 dowel
holes Ø 6 mm and insert the dowels.
4.
Carefully push the cable grommet [9] out
of the enclosure and remove it.
ATTENTION:
Risk of short circuit and damage to
the device. Risk of water
penetration into the fan housing if the mains
cable has been inserted incorrectly or if the
cable grommet has not been fitted correctly.
Cut off the cap of the cable grommet [9] in
such a manner that the cable grommet
encloses the mains cable tightly. Cut off the
cap by at least 5 mm (this makes it easier to
bend the mains cable and to place the
electronic cover [6] correctly).
Attach the cable grommet [9] properly and
seal it on site if necessary.
5.
Insert the cable grommet [9] into the
housing.
6.
Insert the ribbon cable from the outdoor
climate sensor [12] into the opening
provided (
→
arrow) in the fan housing [1].
Feed mains cable into the connection
area until the cable grommet
completely encloses the cable sheath
and does not reach too far out into
the connection area.
