In order to facilitate their connection, cables will be laid underground but may be laid on the floor and to do this the
corresponding skirting board cover must be removed.
The equipment has an Ethernet connection and another for GSM MODEM (optional) for remote communications.
This connection is situated inside the doors.
The ZIGOR SOLAR HIT3C is fitted with protection and disconnection systems:
•
In the renewable resource input connection, there is an internal management disconnector that allows the
renewable resource to be disconnected from the unit.
•
The battery connection is fitted with a protective fuse.
•
The unit/grid input connection is fitted with protective fuses.
•
The alternating current output connection is fitted with fuses and an internal management disconnector that
allows the unit to be isolated from consumers.
In order to ensure safe operation, the installation shall be fitted with the following:
•
One disconnector upstream of the renewable resource input.
•
One disconnector in the battery branch.
•
One magnetothermal-differential switch at the AC output.
•
One magnetothermal switch at the generator/grid input.
•
Manual operation external bypass, between the unit/grid and AC consumers. This device will provide a way of
de-energising the system during installation and maintenance processes, thereby ensuring the supply of energy
to consumers.
At the ZIGOR SOLAR HIT3C AC input and output, the protective equipment must be of the slow operating type
so that it does not trip due to the inrush current, the peaks of which can be several times higher than the nominal
value. The differential protection in AC output must be the super-immunized type.
The AC and DC connections of the ZIGOR SOLAR HIT3C are in the front of the system, as shown in figures 3-3
and 3-8.
In the ZIGOR SOLAR HIT3C 30/50 kW

The DC ground connection is made on the vertical bar on the left of the terminals. This ground is isolated from the
rest of the system.
In the ZIGOR SOLAR HIT3C 100kW
The AC output consists of 3 phases and neutral. The connection is made directly in the protection fuse and the bar
on the right-hand side.

for 150 kW
The AC ground connection is made on the crosswise bar situated on the lower part of the fuses.
The battery connection consists of two bare copper bars marked (+) and (-). The bar (-) is common to the renewable
resource input.
