Error signalling of SCR system
Indication of amount of urea in the tank
S15N019
The amount of urea in the tank is displayed on the display. If the urea level is higher than 33%, it is displayed
as OK on the instrument panel. If the amount is below 33%, the real amount of urea in percentage is
displayed. Small amount of urea in the tank is indicated on the instrument panel (a) by the signal lamp of low
urea level (1). The signal lamp of low urea level is activated simultaneously with one of the following signal
lamps: operational protection (2), defect (3) or stop (4) and the prompt to refill urea in the tank appears in the
display of the instrument panel (c) together with an acoustic signal.
Always refill the urea tank during refueling.
Defects of the SCR system when the engine is running
are indicated by glowing of the orange (1) or red (2) signal
lamp on the instrument panel and by the subsequent
acoustic signal. If the error is not eliminated, it is indicated
every time when the engine is started. The reason for the
indication may be in not meeting the required amount of
NOx in exhaust gases, defect of the urea injection system
or bad urea quality. According to the severity of the error
message, the warning signal lamp (3) or the stop signal
lamp (4) are activated together with the signal lamps (1,
2).
If there is an unprofessional intervention in the
system of selective catalytic reduction, an error is
indicated and the system is switched into an
emergency operation mode of the tractor with
a reduced engine power.
