Test Mode
The Contour has a large number of inbuilt tests. The
majority of these are for factory or dealer use and so are
not documented here. Full inbuilt test instructions are
supplied to main dealers.
To Enter Test Mode
Press and hold the four START CHANNEL, TOP SET,
PREHEAT and LAW buttons.
When Test is entered, the display will show ‘0nn’ with the
‘0’ flashing - ‘nn’ is the last two digits of the
communications processor software version number.
To Exit Test Mode
Press and hold the three START CHANNEL, + and -
buttons. The display will be blanked.
The Test Mode will be exited when the START
CHANNEL button is released.
To Select Test
Use +/- to select the required tests. Press + and -
together to select ‘0nn’ - version number display.

0nn Version Display
The ‘nn’ indicates the latest communications processor
software version.
Press any CHANNEL button to latch that channel to
100% and turns off all other channels; pressing any
CHANNEL button with one that is currently at 100% held
brings the new channel to 100% as well.
x@y Option Selection
The three digits of the display are programmed as
follows:
First digit

‘2’ and ‘3’ flashing alternately
to form a crude @ symbol
Third digit

Use a CHANNEL button to select the option to view. The
channel light will come on and ‘x’ will display the option
number.
Press the CHANNEL button again to toggle between the
option set (1) / not set (0).

Any options offered except 3 will be reset to ‘x@1’ when
the dimmer is powered off and back on.
