Keep the iron ca. 150 mm (ca. 0,4 in) away from the sink
in the ironing position, press and hold t
he steam emission
button (1)
pressed for about 3 min. The sediments will be
removed together with water through the steam openings.

Iron some damp item in order to remove all the sediments
from iron baseplate.

As soon as you have finished the ironing, set the steam
emission level to the ”
” by pressing
the fabric
and steam emission selection button

Press
the on/off button
to switch off the appliance.

Disconnect the steam generator from the power supply.

As soon as the iron is cooled down completely empty
the
water reservoir (6)
and store it in a safe place in a horizontal
position.
Cleaning and maintenance
Before you start cleaning the appliance, disconnect it

from the power supply.
Use a damp piece of clothing that will not cause any

scratches in order to remove the sediments from iron
baseplate or casing.
Never use sharp or rough objects to remove sediments
●
from iron baseplate.
Never use any abrasive materials, vinegar etc. to clean
●
the iron.
Emptying the water reservoir

Disconnect the appliance from the power supply.

the water reservoir catch (7)
and pull
the
water reservoir (6)
out.

Pull
the water inlet (5)
out.
Empty

the water reservoir (6)
by keeping it upside-
down above the sink.

Slip
the water inlet (5)
in.

Place
the water reservoir (6)
in its former position.
A characteristic “click” sound will inform you that the water
reservoir has been re-installed properly.
Self-cleaning system
The steam generator has a cleaning system designed to keep
the steam leads and steam boiler clean. We recommend to
perform this operation once a month.

Unwind and straighten the terminal and the connector
cord.

Fill
the water reservoir (6)
(see: Filling the water).

Start the appliance (see: Starting the appliance).

Select the maximal steam emission level by pressing
the
fabric and steam emission selection button
„ ” until
you see MAX setting displayed (
).

The appliance is ready to perform the self-cleaning
operation if
the red pilot light
has disappeared and
the
green pilot light
has been switched on.
Examples of problems that might occur while using the steam generator

to the power supply.
Connect the plug to the power supply. Make
sure that the connector cord and the plug are not
damaged. If damaged - contact your service dept.
The appliance has not been

Press

to switch on the
appliance.
The socket is damaged or there
has been a power cut.
Make sure that the fuse is not damaged or that
the automatic fuse is not switched off. If they are
working properly, check the socket by connecting
any other appliance to it. Connect the appliance to
other power supply.
The water level indicator
has appeared on the LCD
display.
The water reservoir is empty.
