Anti-calcification system and the anti-calc
refill indicator
Your appliance has an electronic monitoring system to
control the level of the anti-calc refill wear. The anti-calc
refill is applied to clean water and remove its permanent
and temporary hardness. The refill contains anti-calcification
ingredients. Depending on the water hardness level and
the refill wear, you have to replace the refill when you see
appropriate signal emitted by the steam generator. Depending
on the selected water hardness level,
the anti-calc refill
replacement button
will inform you concerning the
need of replacing the anti-calc refill from time to time.
REPLACING THE ANTI-CALC REFILL

You see
the anti-calc refill replacement indicator
blinking on the LCD display.

Leave the steam generator switched on.

Release
the water reservoir catch (7)
and pull
the
water reservoir (6)
out.

Pull
the anti-calc refill container (8)
out.
5
Wait for 5 sec after completing the step 4 before installing
again
the anti-calc refill container (8)
into the steam
generator.

Place
the water reservoir (6)
in its former position.
A characteristic “click” sound will inform you that the water
reservoir has been re-installed properly.
If you cannot buy anti-calc refill due to any
reasons, you are advised to use distilled
water rather than tap water in order to use the
appliance.
You cannot remove anti-calc refill (9) until the
water reservoir (6) is pulled out.
If the anti-calc refill container (8) has not been
installed properly, you will hear continuously
repeated sound signal and the anti-calc refill
replacement indicator
is going to blink on
the LCD display.
If the anti-calc refill (9) has been installed while
the appliance was switched off, the electronic
anti-calc system will be unable to recognize
that the anti-calc refill has been replaced.
Never use waste anti-calc refills and do not
leave an empty anti-calc container. It can cause
damages to the appliance and to the electronic
system.

Language version selection

Unwind and straighten the terminal and the connector
cord.

Start the appliance (see: Starting the appliance).
You can select one of 3 language versions:
English, French or German.

In order to select a language version, press at the same
time
the water hardness selection button
and
the
fabric and steam emission selection button
„ ”. You
will see the actual language version symbol displayed on the
LCD display (EN, FR, DE).

Use
the fabric and steam emission selection button
„ ” in order to select the desired language version.
Available language versions will be displayed in the following
way:

If the language version you have chosen appears
on the display, wait for a moment. The appliance will be
automatically switched to the selected language version and
then will return to the main screen.
You can change language version at any
moment.
Water hardness testing
Testing the water hardness enables you to set the steam
generator and ironing to fit perfectly the quality of water
you use. In order to test water hardness, follow these
instructions:

Take out the water hardness tester from the package.

Fill a glass or any other container with water from the tap
and immerse the water hardness tester in it.

Wait for ca. 15 s and then compare the colour you see on
the water hardness tester with the table of colours you can
find on the package of the water hardness tester.

Taking into account the value of water hardness obtained
in this way, press
the water hardness selection button
and adjust the water hardness level in the steam generator.
