System Overview

Connector panel of the halogen light source

1

Power switch

2

Light guide socket
The light guide socket is used to direct the light from the light source to
the surgical microscope.

3

Strain relief device
The strain relief device prevents inadvertent unplugging of the power
cable.

4

Power inlet
The power cord connects the device to the power socket. The power inlet
socket contains the device fuse.

5

Display window for rated voltage and voltage switchover
The rated voltage indicated at the sliding switch must correspond to the
rated voltage of the net available on the site of installation. If the rated
voltage has not been correctly set, you can adjust the sliding switch using
a suitable tool.

6

Potential equalization connector (can be ordered separately, optional)
This connector can be used for placing other active devices at the same
ground potential or for redundant grounding to protective earth.
