Halogen light source

Flap
The flap is used as mechanic indicator of the operating status of the hal-
ogen light source.

– When the flap is closed, the main lamp is operative.

– When the flap is open, the main lamp has failed. The backup lamp is 

on.

Switching to the backup lamp 
The lamp housing contains a backup lamp. If the first lamp fails, you can 
switch on the backup lamp by pressing this button.

• Replace the defective lamp at the first opportunity (see  Page 224).
