CONNECTINg PrINCIPlE WITh PIlOT WIrE (ClASS II - French
market):
Your appliance is equipped with a pilot wire for connection to a pilot wire
programming base unit (not supplied with the appliance).
NOTE:
Your appliance is equipped with an integrated electronic control system so we
cannot accept any liability should the appliance be used with Pilot Wire
programming base units that function by disconnecting the supply voltage (refer
to the instructions supplied with your control unit). If your radiator stops receiving
instructions, when in AUTO mode it will operate in COMFORT mode until a new
mode command is received from the programming base unit.

If the pilot wire is not connected, it must be insulated for safety reasons. Under
no circumstances must it be connected to earth.

3. Using your appliance
3.1 Commissioning
If you wish your appliance to start heating the first time it is powered, simply
hold down the button for 2 seconds (the appliance then emits an audible signal),
select COMFORT mode and adjust the desired temperature using the
–
and
+
keys.
Every time there is a power shortage of more than 1 hour, the blinking of the
screen and of the symbol indicates that the time needs to be set (see chapter 4.1).
If you do not wish to set the time immediately, you can interrupt the blinking of
the screen by pressing any of the keys. The clock will nonetheless continue to blink
to remind you that the time has not been set.
