Following items shall be included in instructions:
– Applicable standards (together with the year of issue) listed in Chapter 1;
– Information described in Chapter 1;
– Marking information in Chapter 7;
together with the following items.
Specific condition of use:
- A2NN60D shall be installed in A2CB60.
- Since Ta is not marked on the equipment, the instructions shall be referred to for the ambient
temperature range.
- Ambient temperature: −40 to +55 °C (outside the enclosure)
- The equipment shall be installed so that pollution degree 2 in accordance with IEC 60664-1 is
maintained inside the enclosure.
Warnings:
WARNING – DO NOT OPEN THE ENCLOSURE WHEN AN EXPLOSIVE ATMOSPHERE IS
PRESENT.
Installation:
• The equipment shall be installed and used within their ratings.
• All equipment and wiring in hazardous areas shall be installed in accordance with
IEC60079-14 and related local electrical codes and the installation shall also comply with the
appropriate requirements for non-hazardous areas.
• Instructions provided in GS (General specifications), TI (Technical Information of Installation
Guidance) and/or IM (User’s Manuals) shall be observed.
• The installation shall be carried out only by qualified personnel whose training has included
instruction on the type of protection and installation practices, relevant rules and regulations
and general principles of area classification.
• Screws of terminals for field wiring connections shall be tightened with specified torque
values.
• On completion of the installation and prior to first use, initial inspection of the equipment and
installation shall be carried out in accordance with IEC 60079-17.
• Abide by the following guidance so as to ensure the safety and performance.
• Make sure that all the empty slots in the enclosure should be properly covered with
attached caps.
• Thoroughly read and understand the information in the User's Manuals before using the
Roxtec’s sealing module and cable glands.
• Do not remove the plate for cable gland and plate for sealing module from the enclosure.
• Do not submerge the enclosure in water.
• The option code (/MDV1S, /MDV1D, /MMM1S and /MMM1D) indicates the default setting of
I/O modules and I/O adaptors at the time of shipping from a factory. The pre-installed I/O
modules and I/O adaptors are replaceable to separately prepared modules which are listed
on IECEx FMG 15.0028 X.
• When A2CB60 and A2NN60D are provided as separate products, the Ex marking external to
the enclosure shows the marking of A2CB60 only, and does not include the information
about A2NN60D.
