Crank-shaft
Balance shaft
1.
Remove the (l
eft hand) crankcase (See “Removal of
left hand crankcase").
2.
Remove the balance shaft.
3.
Remove the crankshaft.
Notice:
While removing, you may strike the balance shaft and
crankshaft gently; however, always avoid damaging
them.
To mount the crankshaft and balance shaft:
1.
Place the right hand crankcase assembled with
variable transmission system (driving/driven shaft,
etc.) on the assembly operating table, and use a high
power electric drier to heat the right crankcase body
crankshaft bearing until the temperature at the inner
circle of the bearing reaches 106
℃
, and then
assemble the crankshaft.
2.
Use a high power electric drier to heat the right
crankcase body balance shaft bearing until the
temperature at the inner circle of the bearing
reaches 106
℃
, and then assemble the balance shaft.
Remember to align the markers on the driving and
driven gears.
3.
Mount the left hand crankcase (See “Installation of
crankcase").
Notice:
Only assemble when the temperature reaches 106
℃
,
otherwise it can’t be assembled. Never savagely
strike it!
The markers on the driving and driven gears must be
aligned.
