Note
Important
*Indicate that the solution A/B will only be consumed simultaneously if they are both used in the same
test cycle. Normally, if washing buffer A is used in one cycle, washing buffer B will not be consumed in
this cycle.
The consumption of the cleaning solution is proportional to the test numbers in a cycle. E.g. if a test
cycle contains 10 tests, the solution consumption = L

3.11.2
Pre-Run Check
The instrument automatically carried out the following checks before running the test cycle.
Priming the Dispenser and Fluidic Path
The dispenser and fluidic path is primed in order to refresh the liquid inside all tubing, this is to refill the
tubing and also cleans the dispensing needles.
Priming the Washing buffer Solution
The selected Washing Buffer corresponding to the test performed is primed to ensure no residual Washing
Buffer from the previous test remains in the fluidic path.
Pre-warming/cooling the cartridge holding Carousel
When the run cycle is initiated, the instrument checks if the cartridge holder carousel is at the temperature
desired for the test. If the set temperature is not in range, the instrument will not start the run cycle. The
temperature value and the time remaining to reach the desire temperature will be displayed in the status bar.
Warming the cartridges
To ensure that the reagents in the cartridges have reached the required temperature, there will be a delay of
5 minutes before the analysis cycle starts. The waiting time is displayed on the status bar.
Sample Dilution
Sample dilution is performed at the same time as the carousel is warmed to the desire temperature. Sample
diluents and samples are transferred into the dilution well on the cartridges in its pre-programmed dilution
ration. Depending on the number of tests and type of tests performed, the time needed for the dilution
process varies. The processing time is displayed on the status bar.
