Resource Files
83
When configuring some features, you may need to upload resource files to the IP phone.
The resources files can be local contact directory, remote phonebook and so on. If the
resource file is to be used for a system of IP phones, the access URL of the resource file is
best specified in the <y000000000000>.cfg file. However, if you want to specify the
desired phone to use the resource file, the access URL of the resource file is best
specified in the <MAC>.cfg file.
This chapter will provide the detailed information on how to work with the following
resource files and specify the access URL:

Specifying the Access URL
of Resource Files
You can create multiple replace rules using the replace rule template. After creating the
replace rule template, save the replace rule template to the root directory of the
configuration server and specify the access URL in the configuration files.
When creating a replace rule template, remember the following:
A replace rule template must be in .xml format.
<DialRule> indicates the start of a template and </DialRule> indicates the end of
a template.
At most 20 replace rules can be added to the IP phone.
The expression syntax in the replace rule template is the same as introduced in the
section
Creating Dial Plan
on page

.
Specify the values within double quotes.
When specifying the desired line(s) for the replace rule, the valid values are 0 and
line ID. 0 stands for all lines, multiple line IDs are separated by comma.
The file name must be dialplan.xml.
Procedure
