Cutting with the device
Note! You can only start cutting when the circular saw has reached its full speed. Do not apply the workpiece to a stationary saw
before starting the device.
When cutting a long workpiece, use supports on both the infeed and outfeed side of the work table. This will prevent uncontrolled
movement of the workpiece.
When cutting small workpieces of such dimensions that the distance between the hand and the blade is less than 120 mm, a
pusher (XVII) should be used to feed the workpiece in the direction of the blade. The pusher should also be used when the cutting
is close to being fi nished. The pusher must be held in such a way that it does not come into contact with the circular saw. Replace
a worn, destroyed or damaged pusher before starting work. Always keep the pusher close to the device. The device has special
holders for storing the pusher (XVIII).
Always use guide bars for cutting, they increase safety, make work easier and reduce the risk of damage to the workpiece.
The higher the number of teeth, the higher the quality of the cut, it is recommended to use a disc with 48 teeth to cut laminated
boards and hard material. If the workpiece contains staples, nails or other structural elements, circular saws intended for cutting
structural timber should be used.
After fi nishing work, turn off the device using the switch, wait for the circular saw to stop completely, then unplug the power cord
from the socket and proceed with maintenance.
MAINTENANCE, TRANSPORT AND STORAGE
After fi nishing work, clean the work table and the casing of chips and dust using a soft brush with plastic bristles. A compressed
air stream at a pressure of not more than 0.3 MPa may also be used for this purpose. A soft cloth slightly dampened with water
can also be used for cleaning. Afterwards, all cleaned surfaces should be dried or left to dry. Check the permeability of the ven-
tilation openings and, if necessary, clean them with a soft plastic brush, a soft brush or a compressed air stream at a pressure
of not more than 0.3 MPa. Do not use sharp, especially metal objects for cleaning the ventilation openings. Do not use solvents,
alcohol, corrosive or abrasive agents for cleaning. Do not clean the machine with a jet of water, do not immerse the machine in
water or any other liquid.
Transport only when the product is switched off with the power cord plug disconnected from the socket. The product should be
transported by two people by grasping the work table or the base casing. Never grasp the extensions of the work table. Wear
protective gloves for transport.
Store the product in a dark, dry, and well ventilated rooms. The room should protect the device from unauthorised access, espe-
cially by children. For long-term storage, it is advisable to remove the circular saw and hang it on one of the sides of the base,
together with the wrenches for fi xing the blade, as shown in the illustration (XIX). For storage, the power cord should be retracted
around the holders on one of the sides of the casing (XX).
