Adjustment of Ending Characteristics
These parameters can change the characteristics from when ARCOF signal is input until arc
disappears.
Parameter
No.
Meaning
Guideline of Adjustment
P11
Average current for crater processing after
ARCOF signal is input (VALID when D1
parameter 4=ON, however crater processing
is always invalid at P13=10.)
P12
Average voltage for crater processing after
ARCOF signal is input (VALID when D1
parameter 4=ON, however crater processing
is always invalid at P13=10.)
P13
Crater processing time after ARCOF signal is
input (VALID when D1 parameter 4=ON,
however crater processing is always invalid at
P13=10.)
-
When craters make holes:
Decrease the value.
-
When craters are not filled:
Increase the value.
P14
Average current to adjust the burning after
welding
P15
Average voltage to adjust the burning after
welding
P16
Arc time to adjust the burning after welding
-
When wire sticks to the chip:
Decrease the value.
-
When wire sticks to the base
metal:
Increase the value.
P17
Peak current to adjust the wire end tip
spherical diameter after welding
P18
Peak time to adjust the wire end tip spherical
diameter after welding
-
When arc does not start at next
ARCON signal:
Increase the value.
-
When the wire is repelled at next
ARCON signal:
Decrease the value.
P20
Time to prevent the wire from sticking to the
base metal after welding
-
When wire sticks to the base
metal:
Increase the value.
-
When arc comes out to the part
other than the welding section at
air-cut:
Decrease the value.
P44
Transition time from the main conditions to the
end conditions (VALID when D1 parameter
4=ON, however crater processing is always
invalid at P13=10.)
-
When craters make holes:
Decrease the value.
-
When craters are not filled:
Increase the value.
