6SY Operation Manual
3. Grasp the rotor bowl and tap on the
rotor nut with your hand or a plastic
hammer to loosen the rotor from the
bowl.
4. Remove the strainer located on the
rotor
(Figure 4)
. If the strainer is stuck,
use a screwdriver to carefully pry the
bottom edge until it comes loose from
the bottom plate.

5. Scrape off the deposits from the inside
of the rotor bowl
(Figure 5)
.
• If there are no deposits, the cleaner is
not working properly.
• If the deposits are thicker than 20 mm
(3/4 in.), clean the oil cleaner more
often.

6. Wash all of the parts in suitable parts
cleaning solvent.
7. Make sure the nozzles on the rotor are
not blocked or damaged.
8. Make sure the bearings are not
damaged.
9. Inspect the O-ring in the rotor bowl for
damage and replace if necessary.
10.Install the O-ring in the rotor bowl
(Figure 6)
