• Disconnect the radiator fan motor coupler

from the wire harness.

• Connect the battery (12 V) as shown.

Positive battery lead

Negative battery lead

• Does the radiator fan motor turn?

The radiator fan
motor is faulty and
must be replaced.

5. Radiator fan motor relay

• Remove the radiator fan motor relay from

the wire harness.

• Connect the pocket tester (

Ω

1) and bat-

tery (12 V) to the radiator fan motor relay
terminal as shown.

• Check the radiator fan motor relay of conti-

nuity.

Positive battery lead

Negative battery lead

yellow/red

Positive tester probe

red

Negative tester probe

• Does the radiator fan motor relay have

continuity between red and red/blue?

Replace the radiator
fan motor relay.
