36 Fuel injector Actuates the fuel injector five
times at one-second inter-
vals.

each time the fuel injector is
actuated.
Disconnect the fuel pump
coupler.
Check that the injector is ac-
tuated five times by listening
for the operating sound.
45 VVA solenoid Actuates the VVA solenoid
five times at five-second in-
tervals.

each time the VVA solenoid
is actuated.
Check that the VVA solenoid
is operated five times.
51 Radiator fan motor relay Actuates the radiator fan mo-

time the relay is actuated. Check that the radiator fan
motor relay is actuated five
times by listening for the op-
erating sound.
52 Headlight Actuates the headlight five

54 FID (Fast Idle Device) sole-
noid Fully closes the FID solenoid
valve, and then opens the
