Playing Songs
This instrument can play Preset Son g s, Son g s you recorded on this instrument, or
commercially available Son g s. In addition to listenin g to these Son g s, you can play the
keyboard alon g with the Son g as it plays back.
MIDI Data
A MIDI Song is comprised of yo u r key b oard performance information and is not a recording of the act u al so u nd
itself. The performance information refers to w hich keys are played, at w hat timing, and at w hat strength—j u st
as in a m u sical score. Based on the recorded performance information, the tone generator (of the Cla v ino v a,
etc.) o u tp u ts the corresponding so u nd. A MIDI Song u ses a small amo u nt of data capacity in comparison to an
A u dio song, and allo w s yo u to easily change aspects of the so u nd, s u ch as Voices u sed, etc.


The numbers are generally assigned to the Songs in the following sequence: Songs transferred from a computer, Songs in the USB
flash drive. When you transfer a Song from a computer while the USB flash drive is connected to the instrument, the transferred Song
will be inserted before the first USB Song number, moving all USB Song numbers later in sequence.
