Remote Control Operation Range
Notes
• There should be no large obstacles between the remote
control and the remote sensor on the main unit.
• Strong light (especially from an inverter type fluorescent
lamp) shining directly on the remote sensor may prevent
proper operation. In such cases, reposition the main unit to
avoid direct light.
Battery Installation
Battery replacement
When you notice a decrease in the operating range of
the remote control, replace both batteries with new ones.
Notes
• Use only AA, R6, UM-3 batteries for replacement.
• Be sure to insert the batteries with correct polarity (as
illustrated on the battery compartment).
• Remove the batteries if the remote control will not be used
for an extended period of time.
• If batteries leak, dispose of them immediately. Avoid
touching the leaking material or letting it come into
contact with clothing, etc. Clean the battery compartment
thoroughly before installing new batteries.
