Controlling while watching a TV monitor
When connecting iPod with a USB cable or iPod dock, iPod can be
controlled with the TV monitor.
• To operate an iPod on a TV monitor, connect the unit and TV with an HDMI cable,
and change the input source on the TV to the video input from HDMI OUT jack of
the unit before operation.
• An iPod connected to the iPod wireless system cannot be operated on a TV
monitor.

Select the input source to which the iPod is
connected.
When using the USB cable to connect the iPod:
Press USB to select “USB” as the input source.
When using the iPod dock to connect the iPod:
Press DOCK to select “DOCK” as the input source.
The following display is for the USB input source.
• When “No device” appears on the TV monitor, make sure that the iPod is
connected to the unit properly.

Press the cursor keys to select the content, and then
press ENTER to confirm the selection.
After selecting a song, playback starts and the Now Playing
view appears.
• Press RETURN or the cursor key (
) to return to the previous screen.

(When using the iPod dock)
To play back the video stored on iPod, connect
the TV to the MONITOR OUT (VIDEO) jack. When playing back, switch the
input source on TV to the composite video input.

(When using the iPod dock)
While playing back video stored on iPod,
switch the input source on TV to the HDMI input connected to the unit to
display Browse view or Now Playing view.
