Fault code No. P0106
Symptoms
Malfunction in the intake air pressure sensor system detected
(clogged hole or disconnected sensor).
Diagnostic code No.
D03 (Intake air pressure sensor)
NOTICE
• Do not remove the sensor module.
• If fault code numbers P0107/P0108 and P0106 are indicated at the same time, check and repair
P0107/P0108 first.

1 Incorrect installation of the sen-
sor module. - Check the installation part for
looseness and stuck places.
Refer to “Throttle body, Fuel in-
jector”. After starting the engine, let it
idle and leave it for about 5 sec-
onds with throttle fully closed.
After the above work is finished,
check the condition of the fault
code in diagnostic mode of the
Yamaha diagnostic tool.
Condition is Recovered

Go to
item 3 and finish the service.
Condition is Detected

Go to
item 2.
2 Defective intake air pressure
sensor Check in diagnostic mode (code
No. D03).
When engine is stopped: Atmo-
spheric pressure at the current
altitude and weather conditions
is indicated.

Re-
place the throttle body.
Finish the service.
3 EG warning light, delete the
fault code. Delete this fault code with the
status “Recovered” in the
Yamaha diagnostic tool.
