D36 Fuel injector Operation
Check if the fuel injector
is energized.
Determine whether the
injector is malfunction-
ing by confirming the
operating sound of the
injector or visually con-
firming the operation. Note: Disconnect the fuel pump coupler
when performing this operation!
The fuel injector turns ON/OFF five times
every second.
According to whether it is ON/OFF, the
“CHECK” indicator and the “
” indicator
on the Yamaha diagnostic tool screen will
come on.

AI solenoid

Operation
Determine whether the
AI solenoid is malfunc-
tioning by confirming
the operating sound of
the AI solenoid.
The AI solenoid turns ON/OFF five times
every second.
According to whether it is ON/OFF, the

come on.
D52 Headlight Operation
Determine whether the
headlight is malfunc-
tioning by energizing
the headlight.
The headlight turns ON/OFF five times
every five second.
According to whether it is ON/OFF, the
“CHECK” indicator and the “
” indicator
on the Yamaha diagnostic tool screen will
come on.
D54 FID Operation
Determine whether the
FID solenoid is mal-
functioning by confirm-
ing the operating sound
of the FID solenoid. The AI solenoid turns ON/OFF five times
every second.
During which the “CHECK” indicator and
the “
” indicator on the Yamaha diag-
nostic tool screen will come on.
