SELF-DIAGNOSTIC FUNCTION AND
DIAGNOSTIC CODE TABLE
2 Connection of main harness
ECU coupler.
Check the locking condition of
the coupler.
Disconnect the coupler and
check the pins (bent or broken
terminals and locking condition
of the pins). Defective connections

Re-
connect or replace the harness.
Turn the main switch to “ON”,
and then check the condition of
the fault code in diagnostic
mode of the Yamaha diagnostic
tool.
Condition is Recovered

Go to
item 6 and finish the service.
Condition is Detected

Go to
item 3.
3 Harness continuity Open or short circuit

Replace
the harness.
Note: In the case of P0107,
check the following:
ECU - Intake air pressure sen-
sor (sensor output)
ECU - Intake air pressure sen-
sor (sensor power supply)
Note: In the case of P0108,
check the following:
ECU - Intake air pressure sen-
sor (sensor ground)
Turn the main switch to “ON”,
and then check the condition of
the fault code in diagnostic
mode of the Yamaha diagnostic
tool.
Condition is Recovered

Go to
item 8 and finish the service.
Condition is Detected

Go to
item 4.
4 Installed condition of the sensor
module. Check the installation part for
looseness, stuck places.
Check if the mounting position
is OK. Turn the main switch to “ON”,
and then check the condition of
the fault code in diagnostic
mode of the Yamaha diagnostic
tool.
Condition is Recovered

Go to
item 8 and finish the service.
Condition is Detected

Go to
item 5.
Fault code No. P0107/P0108
Symptoms
Open or short circuit in the intake air pressure sensorr detected.

P0107 (open circuit/ground fault)/P0108 (sky fault)
Diagnostic code No.
D03 (Intake air pressure sensor)
NOTICE
• Do not remove the sensor module.
• If fault code numbers P0107/P0108 and P0106 are indicated at the same time, check and repair
P0107/P0108 first.
