INTRODUCTION
WARNING
The disc brake components rarely require
disassembly. Therefore, always follow these
precautions:
Never disassemble brake components unless
absolutely necessary. If any connection is
disconnected in the brake hydraulic, must
disassemble the entire brake system, drain,
clean, fill and purge properly assembled after
Never use solvents on internal brake

Use only brake fluid to clean or new cleaning
brake components.
Brake fluid may damage painted surfaces and
plastic parts. Therefore, always immediately
clean spilled brake fluid.
Do not allow brake fluid to come into contact
with the eyes as it can cause serious injury.
FIRST AID FOR BRAKE FLUID ENTERING
THE EYES: Flush with water for 15 minutes and
seek medical attention immediately.
CHECKING THE FRONT BRAKE DISC
1.
Remove:
Front Wheel
Refer to "FRONT WHEEL"
on page 4-6.
2.
Check: Disc
Brake
Damaged / scratched
Replace יו.
3.
Measure:
Deformation of the brake disc

Correct יו
deformation
Brake disc or replace the brake disc.
Limit brake disc deformation of
0.10 mm
a.
Place the vehicle on a suitable stand so that the
front wheel is lifted.
b.
Before measuring the deformation of the front
brake disc, rotating the handlebar to the left or
right to ensure that the front wheel is fixed.
c.
Remove the brake caliper.
d.
Keep the comparator at right angles relative to
the brake disk surface.
e.
Measuring the deformation of the disc 5 mm
below the edge of the brake disc.
4.
Measure:
Brake disc thickness
Measure the brake disc thickness at
different locations.

Replace יו.
Limit the brake disc thickness
