CHECKING THE SPARK
1. Disconnect: Spark
plug

Spark
CAUTION
Before removing the spark plug, clean with
compressed air dirt that may have accumulated in
the spark plug hole to prevent it from falling into the
cylinder
3. Check:
Type plug (NGK / CPR8EA-9)
Incorrect
Switch.
4. Check:
Electrode "1"
Damage / wear? Replace the spark plug.
Insulation "2"
5. Clean:
Spark
(With a spark plug cleaner or wire brush)

Measure:
Clearance of spark plug electrodes "a"
(With a feeler gauge)
OOS
Adjust.
Distance between the
electrodes of the spark plug
0.8-0.9 mm
7. Install:
Spark
Plug
13 Nm (1.3 m · kg, 9.4
NOTE:
Before installing the spark plug, clean the spark
plug and gasket.
8. Connect:
The spark plug cap
ON INSPECTION TIME
NOTE:
Before checking the ignition timing, check the
connection of all wires around the ignition
system. Cone.xiones sure all are tight and free of
