Operation

Disconnect the fuel hose from the fuel
joint on the outboard motor.

Disconnect the fuel hose from the fuel
joint on the fuel tank.

Tighten the air vent screw by turning it
clockwise.

TIP:

If the outboard motor is equipped with an en-
gine shut-off cord, the engine can also be
stopped by pulling the cord and removing the
clip from the engine shut-off switch.
