COMPROBACION DE LA BATERIA 
(modelo provisto de arranque eléctrico)

El electrolito de la batería es peligroso. Contie-
ne  ácido  sulfúrico  y  por  lo  tanto  es  tóxico  y
sumamente cáustico.
Adopte  en  todo  momento  las  siguientes  pre-
cauciones preventivas:

Evite que el electrolito entre en contacto con
su  cuerpo,  ya  que  puede  provocar  graves
quemaduras  y  lesiones  permanentes  a  la
vista.

Protéjase siempre los ojos con gafas cuando
manipule o trabaje cerca de baterías.
Antídoto (EXTERNO):

PIEL: Lavar con agua.

8

OJOS: Lavar con agua durante 15 minutos y
obtener de inmediato asistencia médica.
Antídoto (INTERNO):

Beber  grandes  cantidades  de  agua  o  leche,
seguido de leche de magnesia, huevo batido
o aceite vegetal. Solicitar de inmediato asis-
tencia médica.
Las baterías también producen gas explosivo
de  hidrógeno,  por  lo  que  deberá  adoptar
siempre las siguientes medidas preventivas:

Cargue las baterías en un lugar bien ventila-
do.

Mantenga  las  baterías  alejadas  del  fuego,
chispas  o  llamas  (por  ejemplo,  equipos  de
soldadura, cigarrillos encendidos, etc.).

NO FUME cuando cargue o manipule baterí-
as.

MANTENGA  LAS  BATERIAS  Y  EL  ELECTRO-

VERIFICATION DE LA BATTERIE

L’électrolyte  de  la  batterie  est  dangereux
car  il  contient  de  l’acide  sulfurique  qui  est
un  poison  hautement  caustique.  Toujours
prendre les mesures préventives ci-dessous:

Eviter  les  contacts  avec  l’électrolyte  car  il
risque  d’entraîner  des  brûlures  sévères  et
des blessures permanentes aux yeux.

Toujours  porter  des  lunettes  de  sécurité
lorsqu’on  manie  ou  lorsqu’on  travaille  à
proximité des batteries.
Antidote (EXTERNE):

PEAU : rincer à l’eau claire.

YEUX  :  rincer  à  l’eau  claire  pendant  15
minutes  et  appeler  immédiatement  le
médecin.
Antidote (INTERNE):

Boire de grandes quantités d’eau ou de lait
suivies  par  du  lait  de  magnésie,  des  oeufs
battus  ou  de  l’huile  végétale.  Appeler
immédiatement le médecin.
Les  batteries  dégagent  également  des  gaz
d’hydrogène explosifs. Il faut dès lors tou-
jours  prendre  les  mesures  préventives  ci-
dessous:

Charger les batteries dans un endroit bien
aéré.

Maintenir les batteries à l’écart du feu, des
éincelles  ou  des  flammes  nues  (par
exemple,  l’équipement  de  soudure,  les
cigarettes allumées, etc...).

NE  PAS  FUMER  lorsqu’on  charge  ou
lorsqu’on manutentionne des batteries.
