1. Preparation
To check the unit using the test program, the following measuring instruments and jigs are required:
Level meter (IHF-C curve)
Frequency counter
Note: Impedance must be 1 M
Ω
or above.
Use stereo plugs, and connect a 33
Ω
load at the [PHONES] terminal.
Floppy disks (2HD and 2DD)
Foot controller (FC-7)

2. How to enter the Test Program
While pressing the [C2#], [F2] and [G2#] keys, turn on the power switch.
3. Proceeding through the Test Program
Once inside the test program, the LCD will display “TEST MODE”.
To select the program number, use the [Tempo +] and the [Tempo -] buttons.
To start the test, press the [Start/Stop] button.
When the test result is ok, the LCD will display “OK”.
When the test result is no good, turn off the power swich and re-enter the test program.

The guide lamps will light according to the sound.
When a voice switch is pressed, the tone of the voice will sound. After
autoscaling is finished, individual keys can be played. (If playing two or
more keys simultaneously, the key pressed first has priority to make a sound.)

When the stereo plug is connected, check that the following output levels are shown:
