FUEL SYSTEM

FUEL METER COMPLETE

1. Using a soft brush and solvent, clean

the strainer on the end of the suction
pipe and blow-dry it with compressed
air.

2. Visually inspect the strainer for damage

and replace the fuel meter complete if
required.

3. Inspect the fuel meter components for

cracks and replace the fuel meter com-
plete if required.

4. Re-install the fuel meter complete with

the rubber gasket to the fuel tank,
ensuring that there are no leaks
between the fuel meter and the fuel
tank.

PRIMING PUMP

1. Visually inspect for cracks or breaks in

the priming-pump and fuel-hoses and
replace them if required.

2. Check the operation of the check-valve

by blowing into the pump.
